This blog is hosted by neuroscience researchers at SITraN, a unique research facility, purpose-built and dedicated to finding causes and developing treatments for motor neurone disease (MND) and related neurodegenerative diseases such as spinal muscular atrophy (SMA), Parkinson’s disease and Alzheimer’s disease. SITraN was opened in 2010 by HM The Queen and hosts a multidisciplinary team of clinicians and scientists working together under one roof to translate research discoveries from the laboratory to the clinic to benefit patients and their families worldwide.
